National School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurses Week, May 6 through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.  Dinwiddie County Public Schools celebrates our school nurses and all they do for our students and staff. We appreciate all their dedicated, hard work and meticulous attention to detail in order to provide the best care for our students!
