Holiday Art Contest
Design the DCPS 2019 Holiday Card
Dinwiddie County Public Schools is looking for students to create festive artwork to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.
GUIDELINES
Any student who is currently enrolled in DCPS is eligible to participate. One entry per student.
Maximum size of artwork is 8.5″ x 11.” Students may use paint, colored paper, magic markers, crayons, chalk, or colored pencils for a two dimensional design. All artwork must be original ideas and created entirely by the student. Copyrighted images will not be accepted. Artwork should not smear/smudge and must be dry.
Each entry must be clearly labeled, on back, with student’s name, school, grade level, and name of teacher. Entries will not be returned.
By entering contest, student gives permission to DCPS to duplicate art work and use as holiday card. Entries may be published on DCPS website and social media pages.
The winning submission will be featured as the cover of the DCPS Holiday card with the student’s name, grade, and school. The winner will be recognized at the December School Board Meeting on December 10.
Submission deadline is 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 26. Entries may be turned in to each school’s main office or to the School Board Office Receptionist.
